Nose is medium plus to high intensity with black olive tapenade, ripe blackberry, black cherry, plum, lavender, sage, lots of salinity, iodine, perfume, hints of dried date and fig, hints of jamon Iberico. Palate is olive brine on the initial attack giving way to stewed and fresh ripe plum, blackberry, black cherry, green olive and olive pit, garrigue, burnt sage, very saline. Medium body, medium minus acid, elegant, tannins resolved but very slight grip, long saline finish. 94 points
