Achaval-Ferrer Malbec 2021

Deep ruby with a purplish ruby core. Nose is medium plus intensity with barnyard and leather, sesame oil, candied plum, blackberry, blueberry jam, violets, cassis, raw beef, vanilla. Palate is velvety fine tannins, slightly grippy, medium to medium plus acidity, medium body, black plum, blackberry, blueberry, slightly irony and stony, new leather, anise, hints of garam masala. Medium finish. Very complex, still youthful but lacking a bit of depth. 90 points.
