Medium ruby in color. Nose is medium plus intensity with baking spice, stemmy, red cherry, red currant, red plum, plum skin, vanilla, almost popcorn (100% new oak). Palate is very elegant, silky texture, tannins are velvety, medium plus acidity, medium body, fresh, grippy - oak is present but not overpowering and fairly well handled despite youth, bright red fruit, cranberry, cherry, red plum, vanilla, slightly vegetal, anise, stony. Finish is medium plus to long with red fruit and stone. 92 points.
