Château les Carmes Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan 2019

Medium ruby in color. Nose is medium plus intensity with roasted vegetable soup, cherry syrup, floral, vanilla, hints of baking spice. Palate is very elegant, very smooth tannins but somewhat grippy, medium plus acidity, medium body, cherry, very mineral driven, moderate baking spice. Very clean and fresh, with great silky texture, well made but lacking a little complexity. 90 points.
