Medium golden yellow in color with active super fine bubbles. Nose is medium plus to high intensity with baked brioche, lemon curd, marzipan, yellow cake, cream cheese Danish, baked yellow apple, cinnamon stick, shortbread — wow what a nose! Palate is more restrained with medium to medium+ acidity, medium body, more citrus and mineral forward with fresh Valencia orange, lemon curd, cinnamon, lightly toasted almonds, chalk, pear. A little white mushroom undertone as well. Finish is long and stony. 93+ points.
