Ferrari Carano Tré Terre Chardonnay 2022

Light yellow in color fairly consistent to the rim. Nose is manure, lemon butter, OAK!, lots of oak, vanilla, baking spice, lemon pith, lime skin. Palate is medium plus acidity, medium plus body, lemon curd, yogurt, vanilla, nutmeg and clove, lemon, lime peel, midpalate and finish is pretty oaky, butter, hints of stone toward the finish. Medium plus finish. Not really my favorite style of Chardonnay and definitely more oak and malolactic overload than preferred. 87 points.
