Caballo Loco Red Blend NV

Deep ruby in color but translucent with slight clearing at the rim. Nose is medium plus intensity with bright red raspberry, red and black cherry, perfume, potpourri, vanilla, slight fig Newton cookie, slight asphalt. Palate is medium to medium plus acidity, very minimal grip and fine but slightly crunchy tannins, medium body, juicy black cherry, raspberry, red plum skin, slight cranberry, spice notes of red pepper flakes, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla. Medium plus finish. A bit hot. 91+ points.
