Bestheim Alsace Grand Cru Schlossberg Riesling 2021

Pale straw yellow in color. On the nose, ripe peach, orange, white flowers, raw almond skin. On the palate, fairly full bodied and rich, super high racing acidity, a bit more residual sugar than expected for the regional style, quite fruit forward with peach, yellow apple, pear, orange, and a bit of salinity on the finish which is fairly long. Overall a pretty and delicious young wine that is very easy drinking and crisp now, but could easily age for some time (10-15+ years) and improve - particularly to tame the acidity. 90 points.
