Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2022

Fairly dark in color for Pinot Noir — purplish ruby but still translucent. On the nose, cherry syrup, raspberry syrup, hints of minerality, traces of sweet wood, fresh raspberry, sage, and hints of rose. On the palate, silky smooth tannins but with slight grip, tangy raspberry, red and black cherry, sage and thyme, hints of nutmeg, a bit of wet leaves and underbrush. Medium plus finish with a bit of cedar, cherry and raspberry. Really lovely expression of Pinot Noir with New World fruit but Old World elegance and complexity. 93 points.
