Karas Malbec 2020

Ruby purple with very slight clearing at the rim. On the nose, slight barnyard, red plum, black cherry, licorice and red twizzlers, traces of acacia. On the palate, very silky smooth tannins, medium to medium minus body, medium to medium plus acidity, fairly elegant red plum, blackberry, red currants, bramble, tobacco and spice. Toast with strawberry jam. Lacking some concentration and complexity, a bit hollow on the mid-palate and a fairly short finish. 87 points.
