Drappier Grande Sendrée Champagne Brut 2008

Medium gold in color very light bubbles. Nose is high intensity with French toast, brioche, Meyer lemon, chalk, baked yellow apple, marzipan, roasted almond, baked pear, fennel. Palate is medium acidity, rich and round, Meyer lemon, baked yellow pear and apple, hints of green olive, fennel, brioche, minerally especially in the finish. Finish is long, with marzipan, limestone, slight citrus. 94/94+ points.
