Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne NV

Medium yellow in color fairly light bubbles. Nose is medium intensity with brioche, ripe lemon, chalk, mango, lime, hints of hazelnut. Palate is medium acidity, mousse not very active, light brioche, lemon curd, lime juice, hazelnut, slightly chalky. Medium finish. Feels a bit flat and lacking concentration — perhaps owing to a previously opened bottle given this was tasted as a by the glass offering at a restaurant. 87 points.
