Ancient Peaks Zinfandel 2021

Deep ruby with a pinkish rim. On the nose, medium plus acidity, medium plus body, intense bramble fruit, blackberry jam, black plum, vanilla, baking spice, and hints of leather and smoke. A moderate-long finish but a bit off balance and hot with alcohol (though not excessively so). 90 points.
