Medium ruby in color with garnet hues. Nose is medium plus with cigar box, pencil, stewed cherry and plum, potpourri, tomato leaf, leather, baking spice. Palate is juicy, stewed and fresh red fruit, blackberry, cassis, cigar, spice, slightly mineral bordering on bloody, iron. Medium plus finish that is irony and austere. 91 points.
