Medium ruby ever so slightly garnet in color. Nose is medium minus to medium intensity with baking spice, tobacco, cigar box, very earthy, hints of leather, sun-dried tomato, fruit is secondary to savory notes with black cherry, plum, dried red flowers. Palate is elegant, medium body, medium acidity bordering on medium plus, slightly grippy but not super tannic, red and black plum, savory herbs, cigar box, blackberry, black currant. Medium finish. 89+ points.
