Château Lynch-Bages Pauillac 2004
Medium ruby slightly garnet in color. Nose is medium plus intensity with substantial notes of cinnamon candy and cinnamon stick, giving way to dried red cherry, dried cranberry, dried flowers, plum tart, rye bread. Palate is medium body, medium acidity, medium tannin fairly velvety, baked red and black fruit, cumin, carraway. Grippy but not overly tannic. Entering its prime drinking window but should continue to improve over another 10-15+ years. Long finish. 93 pts.
