Deep ruby garnet in color with a slight pink-clear rim. On the nose, menthol or eucalyptus, watermelon, slight cigar box note, black cherry, violets. On the palate, ripe black cherry, eucalyptus, red currants, tart cranberry, medium to medium minus body, moderate tannins, fairly short finish with cranberry and slight spice notes. Simple and not particularly outstanding. 83 points.
