Château Guiraud Sauternes (Premier Grand Cru Classé) 2014

Deep golden color with slight clearing at the rim. Nose is medium intensity with dried apricot, candied peach, orange blossom honey, orange marmalade, candied persimmon, honeycomb, hints of toffee, fruit leather, subtle clove and allspice. Palate confirms, acidity is a little lacking and perhaps slightly dilute but nice. Not nearly as exceptional as the 2009. 92+ points.
