Medium straw gold in color with fairly active pinpoint bubbles. Nose is medium to medium plus intensity with baked yellow apple and pear, honey, orange blossom, Meyer lemon, lemon curd, lime curd, slight anise or fennel notes. Palate is medium body, medium to medium plus acidity, marzipan, pie dough, lemon peel and pith, lime peel, fennel, slightly stony and chalky, green apple skin. Medium finish. 88+ points.
