Medium ruby in color with very slight clearing at the rim, translucent. Nose is ripe black cherry, red and black raspberry, barnyard, red plum, withering rose petals, slight potpourri, slight sun-dried tomato. Palate is medium plus acidity, light to medium body, medium to medium minus tannins, medium to medium plus alcohol, grilled mushroom, tilled earth, old roses, slightly underripe black cherry, red and black raspberry, slight cedar, underripe red plum, plum skin, slight tomato leaf or stem. Medium finish. 89 points.
