Recaredo Serral del Vell Brut Nature 2018

Pale gold straw in color with active mousse and pinpoint bubbles. Nose moderately aromatic with chamomile, orange blossom, dry stone and dirt, slight orange and lemon skin, background note of raw brioche dough. Palate is very mineral driven and floral, again with dry dirt and stone, chamomile and orange blossom, but also jammier notes of orange marmalade and honey really shining through, hints again of brioche dough, and a crisp stony finish. Medium+ acidity, medium body, medium+ finish. Terrific well balanced wine. 95 points.
