La Locomotora Rioja Crianza 2020

Deep ruby nearly opaque but slightly translucent, slightly pink rim. Nose is herbal and perfume, eucalyptus or menthol, rose water, tarragon, maybe hints of dill, young coconut, black cherry, black raspberry. Palate is more fruit forward - ripe black cherry, black raspberry, then spice of cinnamon and clove, finally dried coconut and orange peel. Medium finish. 91 points.
