Tarpon Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Deep ruby purple in color. Nose is medium plus intensity with bell pepper, cassis, black cherry, blackberry, black plum, graphite pencil, candied violets. Palate is medium plus acidity, medium body, moderate grip, tannins are a little sharp, black currants and cassis, blackberry, overripe black cherry, pencil shavings. Needs decanting or additional bottle aging, but at time of tasting a bit closed and thin. 88 points.
