Château La Lagune Haut-Médoc 2015

Medium deep ruby in color. Nose is medium plus intensity with cassis, black cherry, violet perfume, sweet spices, cedar, and a hint of licorice and tobacco. Palate confirms dark fruits - black cherry, cassis, black plum, stewed blackberry - and sweet cedar, tobacco leaf, a bit of spice. Firm tannins but pretty elegant, wine is fairly concentrated and rich. Medium plus finish. 92+ to 93 points.
