Château Cambon La Pelouse Haut-Médoc 2018

Medium ruby in color with a slightly dusty pink rim. Nose is medium to medium plus intensity with ripe black plum, black cherry cola, earthy, savory herbs, anise, violets, hints of black olive. Palate is a bit closed, medium body, medium plus acidity, medium fine tannins moderately grippy, black and red cherry, red plum and plum skin, leather, savory herbs, sun-dried tomato, black olive tapenade. Somewhat short finish. Nice complexity but the structure is a bit out of harmony. 87 points.
