Pewsey Vale 1961 Block Riesling 2022

Very light yellow, almost clear in color. On the nose, burnt rubber/asphalt/gasoline dominate but underpinnings of lemon zest and unripe nectarine. On the palate, confirming the nose, racy acidity and totally dry. Medium plus finish with minerals and lemon juice. Overall, well made and fresh but the rubber/petrol notes are overwhelming. 88 points.
