Château Giscours Margaux 2023

Medium deep ruby in color consistent to the rim. Nose is medium plus intensity with iron, red plum, fresh black cherry and cranberry, mint, tobacco, cedar. Palate is medium plus acidity, medium plus tannin, grippy but fine and velvety, red and black fruit but fresh - mint, fresh tobacco leaf, cedar, spice in the back. Medium plus to long finish, a bit juicy and spicy. Really surprising given its youth and should improve further with age. 92 points.
