Chateau Lascombes Chevalier de Lascombes Margaux 2016

Deep ruby in color with slight pink-orange tinge at the rim. On the nose, cassis, blackberry, black raspberry, black cherry, a little bit of perfume. On the palate, tannins are fairly plush but still a little prickly, medium body, medium to medium+ acidity, black cherry, black raspberry, cedar, hints of tobacco leaf, hints of dark chocolate, nutmeg. Tannins still need a bit of time to fully integrate but still drinking nicely. Medium plus finish with black cherry and hints of spice. 5-10 yrs to optimal drinking window. 91 points.
