Catena Malbec 2022

Medium ruby purple in color but translucent and slight clearing at the rim. Nose is balsamic covered ripe strawberry, leather, red plum, cedar, raspberry jam, blueberry compote, spearmint, slight cranberry and black cherry. Palate is medium to medium plus acidity, medium minus in body, very fine tannins not super grippy, light strawberry and red cherry, fresh cranberry, hints of cedar, new leather and fresh tobacco leaf, red plum skin. Medium tart finish. 90 points.
