Cave des Vins de Sancerre Comte de la Chevaliere Sancerre Rosé 2024

Medium deep ruby red grapefruit pink in color. Nose is medium intensity with candied strawberry, maraschino cherry, orange blossom, pink grapefruit, red apple skin, hints of wet river stone, rose petal, peach rings candy, peach skin. Palate is medium acidity a little flabby, maraschino cherry, peach rings candy, strawberry, raspberry candy, ripe red apple, tangerine, very little tannic grip, slightly bitter finish which is medium in length. Lacking some zippiness and complexity and depth. 86+ to 87 points.
