Ken Wright Sedimentary Pinot Noir 2022

Ruby slightly garnet and translucent in color consistent to the rim. Nose is red and black cherry, balsamic, black raspberry, slightly bramble and wild, bit of garrigue, old wet leaves and most earth. Palate is very smooth and elegant tannins structure, medium to medium plus acidity, medium minus to medium body, ripe red and black cherry, black raspberry, slight black licorice notes, violets, slight bitter root herbs, earthy, very Burgundian. Medium plus finish. Might improve with a bit of decanting, but at time of tasting: 91 points.
