Bodegas Ismael Arroyo Valsotillo Finca Buenavista 2019

Very deep ruby in color with a lighter ruby rim. Nose is medium plus intensity with stewed blackberry and black raspberry, cherry cola, overripe plum, hints of dark chocolate, a little pencil lead, slate, a little black licorice. Palate is medium to medium plus acidity, somewhat grippy but tannins are pretty smooth, stewed plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, black cherry, cherry cola, a little bit of oak in the background but pretty well managed. Medium finish. 89 points.
