Medium ruby with tinges of brick orange in color at the rim. Nose is high intensity with stewed prunes, creosote, cola, red plum and plum skin, black currants, orange blossom, slightly dried red roses. Palate is medium plus acidity, medium plus to high grippy tannins, red plum, black cherry, cola, dried roses, hints of asphalt, raw walnuts. Medium plus finish. Really gorgeous and accessible. 92 points.
