Château Musar Blanc Gaston Hochar 2018

Medium yellow in color with slight clearing at the rim. Nose is high intensity with vinyl, canned peach, apricot, bruised apple, rose hip, golden raisin, apple butter, ripe yellow pear, fennel, hints of toasted spice. Palate is medium body, medium to medium plus acidity, a bit more herbal with fennel and parsley notes, then ripe golden apple and pear, hints of nutmeg and oak spice, pink roses or peony, a little soapy. Medium plus finish but a little bitterness (phenolic?). 91 points now but would be curious to re-taste in 10 to 15 years.
