Giorgio Gieco Single Vineyard Malbec 2021

Deep ruby purple fairly consistent to the rim. Nose is medium plus intensity with juicy black and red plum, blackberry, leather, plum jam, black cherry, violets, a bit of damp earth. Palate is very fine smooth tannins but slightly grippy, medium body, medium acidity, alcohol is slightly hot, jammy ripe red and black plum, plum skin, blackberry, black cherry, leather, some cedar, tobacco leaf. Medium minus finish. Slightly off balance but solid. 88 points.
