Medium yellow gold in color with a slight clearing rim. Medium plus to high viscosity. Nose is medium plus intensity, with heavy oak vanilla, baking spice, buttered popcorn, caramel corn, very ripe yellow apple, banana skin, crystallized pineapple, crystallized ginger. Palate confirms the nose. Medium acidity, medium plus alcohol. Baking spice, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, butter, slight cheese rind, fruit is almost secondary - some ripe almost mealy apple and pear, guava, pineapple. Medium to medium plus finish. 90 points.
