Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato Bolgheri 2022

Deep ruby in color with slightly pink clearing at the rim. Nose is medium intensity with black cherry reduction, grilled red bell pepper, smoke, blackcurrant, black licorice, red and black plum and plum skin, hints of violet. Palate is medium plus acidity, medium plus tannins, tannins are beefy and a bit harsh now, black cherry, blackcurrant, smoked bell pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, black plum and plum skin, blackberry. Medium finish. Needs air and/or several years aging to mellow and integrate. As of now, 89 points.
