Viña Otano Rioja Gran Reserva Blanco 2015

Deep yellow golden in color with wide clearing at the rim. Nose is medium intensity with oak, yellow apple, quince paste, marzipan, Play-Doh, ripe yellow pear, slight barnyard, hints of peach pit. Palate is medium to medium plus body, medium to medium plus acidity, juicy yellow apple and pear, oak is coming through but fairly integrated, hints of raw almond and hazelnut. Finish is medium to medium plus. 91 points.
